Theory
In Spanish, we use three main verbs to describe physical appearance:
- Ser: Used for permanent traits, height, and general build (e.g., “Es alto”, “Son delgados”, “Es guapa”).
- Tener: Used for body parts, hair, and eyes (e.g., “Tiene el pelo rizado”, “Tiene los ojos marrones”).
- Llevar: Used for accessories, facial hair, or items you “wear” or “carry” (e.g., “Lleva gafas”, “Lleva bigote”).
