We use the simple future tense to talk about things that will happen in the future. It’s like looking into your crystal ball! 🔮

Remember! It’s different from “ir a + infinitive”, but both talk about the future. The simple future sounds more formal.
How to form it
🔨 How is it formed?
With regular verbs (-AR, -ER, -IR), it’s very easy — just keep the full infinitive and add the ending:

The same endings are used for -AR, -ER and -IR verbs — that’s the great news! Here are three examples side by side:

Great news! All three verb types (-AR, -ER, -IR) share the same endings. Just keep the full infinitive and add them!

When to use it

“El lunes trabajaré desde casa.” – On Monday I’ll work from home.

To make predictions or guesses about the future.
“Ganará el equipo rojo.” – The red team will win.

To wonder or speculate about something happening now.
“¿Dónde estará mi móvil?” – Where could my phone be?

Formal commands
Sometimes used for formal or emphatic instructions.
“Llamarás a tu madre.” – You will call your mother.

Trick: Group them! tener, venir, poner, salir insert a d. haber, saber, caber, poder, querer drop a vowel. hacer, decir are their own thing. Easier that way!
