Review these structures before starting. In Spanish, we use specific expressions to evaluate proposals (valorar) and state whether we agree or disagree with someone’s point of view (dar una opiniĆ³n).
1 Valorar (Evaluating Ideas)
Me parece una buena / mala idea
“I think it’s a good / bad idea.” (Evaluating a proposal positively/negatively)
Lo encuentro exagerado
“I find it exaggerated/extreme.” (Evaluating an excessive standard/action)
DirĆa que es muy original
“I would say it is very original.” (Expressing that something is creative/new)
2 Dar su opiniĆ³n (Agree / Disagree)
Acuerdo (Agreement):
- Estoy de acuerdo contigo. (I agree with you.)
- Pienso lo mismo. (I think the same.)
- Soy de la misma opiniĆ³n. (I share your opinion.)
Desacuerdo (Disagreement):
- No estoy de acuerdo. (I do not agree.)
- No soy de esa opiniĆ³n. (I am not of that opinion.)
- Para nada. En absoluto. (Not at all. Absolutely not.)
