Direct object pronouns replace a noun that directly receives the action of the verb to avoid repetition.
Singular:
- LO: Masculine (el libro → lo)
- LA: Feminine (la mesa → la)
Plural:
- LOS: Masculine (los libros → los)
- LAS: Feminine (las mesas → las)
Placement Rule: Place the pronoun right before the conjugated verb.
Ex: Yo compro el pan → Yo lo compro.
